Reactivation

When fully saturated, our Marispacks silica gel sachets (wrapped by Dutech nonwoven) can be reactivated by heating and used again. After several times of usage, reactivation process may reduce the effectiveness and the adsorption capacity of the desiccant sachets. 

Reactivation of Marispacks silicagel sachets can be done by heating them in the oven at 100-120 degrees Celsius for 0.5-2 hours or in the microwave oven in Defrost mode for 7-12 minutes.

Reactivation time varies depending on the saturation level of silica gel.

During the heating process, it is recommended to ventilate the environment. Further, care should be taken to use a thick baking dish or tray and to let the silica gel cool before use.
