Container Dri II 4x125=500 gram strip container desiccant (with plastic hanger) is a new generation dynamic type cargo desiccant aimed at protecting goods during shipping and transportation by aggressively absorbing moisture in the air. 

 

Compared to conventional desiccants, it has a superior adsorption capacity which is 300% of its own weight at RH 95% and 40 C temperature.

What is it used for ?

Container Dri II container desiccant protects your cargoes against harmful effects of moisture damage and assists to avoid rust, corrosion, mold, mildew, deterioration during shipping and transportation.

It reduces dew point temperature (the temperature at which condensation begins to form) by effectively absorbing moisture and keeping cargo dry.

It is capable of protecting shipments from start to end , throughout the changes in temperature, climate and the relative humidity. It continues to reduce the relative humidity levels below RH %40 which decreases the dew point temperature even further.

Where to use it ?

It is widely used in shipping containers, trucks or wagons to adsorb excessive moisture and protect cargo from container rain.

It is commonly used in agriculture, food, forest products, furniture, automotive, glass, machinery, metal industries and many others.

How to use it ?

Optimum amount of desiccant to be used may vary according to product type, shipping and storage conditions and other conditions of the relative application.

Under normal conditions, approximately 7-9 pcs of Container Dri II 4x125=500 gram desiccant is recommended for usage in 20'ft container for a 30-40 days of overseas navigation. Twice as much (14-18 pcs) is recommended for 40'ft container.

It contains calcium chloride as the aggressive moisture adsorber and modified starch which serves as a gelling agent.

Container Dri II 4x125=500 gram strip container desiccant has a superior absorption capacity. Its moisture adsorption capacity reaches 300% of its own weight at RH 95% and 40 C temperature.

It comes with a plastic hanger which enables hanging the desiccants on the hooks of the shipping container.

It is completely safe and non toxic. Its design allows water vapor to easily enter the interior of the bag, where it is transformed into a thick gel and will not leak, spill or escape out. It can be disposed as a regular waste.
